M83 have revealed a brand new video for 'Claudia Lewis' taken from their double album 'Hurry Up We're Dreaming'. Directed by Bruce Dallas-Howard, this is a sci-fi/high school themed blue haired slab off visual candy.

You may or not know, but 7th September will be the first-ever Cassette Store Day. The event has been described as “a celebration of a physical product that is accessible, fun, cheap and still going strong in the turbulent current musical climate”. The release list is looking stellar, with some fuzzy goodness from At The Drive-In, Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Efterklang, Xiu Xiu, Fear Of Men, Playlounge and loads more. Lo-fi wrestling obsessed couple, Hey!Rabbit have a new recording and it sounds spliffing.

White Denim have revealed details of their upcoming album, Corsicana Lemonade. To be released on 28 October, you can listen to ‘Pretty Green’ – the first track to be previewed below.

65daysofstatic have let loose several teasers revealing details on their forthcoming new album and our sources can now confirm that the album will be titled ‘Wild Light’ and is going to be released on the 16th September 2013. Teaser trailer goodness -

Summer Camp have announced their sophomore record. The self titled release will be out on September 9th, until then, enjoy this short trailer.

METZ, the awesome punk band from Toronto have released a new video for Get Off. They will also feature on Adult Swim's Summer Single series, with their new track 'Can't Understand'. Check out the new video and track below!

New No Age track? Yes please! 

HALO HALO have new record & video announcement. Our favourite South London based three piece's debut album will be released on Upset The Rhythm on July 8th. They have this lovely piece of psychedelia in the new video for "Taro Taro Taro" which will feature on the new record.

Big Deal have announced a one-off London show at White Heat on July 2nd, with support from PAWS and Sisters. In celebration they have unveiled this deliciously scuzzy version of their album track ‘Swapping Spit’ in session. 

Blue Hawaii's second record, 'Untogether' has just been released this spring on Arbutus Records, and has already reaped critical acclaim. Now, after wowing audiences at a string of UK live dates and festivals in May, Blue Hawaii unveil the video for "Reaction II"directed by Melissa Matos and starring Carola Wisny as she wanders through a waking dream.

Television - one of the most influential and legendary of American punk era groups - will play a rare London headline show at the Roundhouse this November 19th. Tickets are on sale now from here.

Taken from Daughter’s stellar debut album, If You Leave, ‘Youth’ is the band’s new single. The accompanying video was filmed last month in  London, shot entirely in black and white. After witnessing the bands's live show at the Hackney Empire, the director took three elements from the show for inspiration - namely darkness, space & light - to perfectly capture the essence of both band and song.

Another busy old week in the world of music! Legendary multimedia artist David Lynch returns this summer with the follow-up to Crazy Clown Time, his acclaimed 2011 solo debut. THE BIG DREAM will be released July 15 in Europe on Sunday Best Recordings – the British label that signed Lynch two years ago.

If you're a Spotify user, you can stream a bonus cut from the album, "I'm Waiting Here" featuring Lykke Li.

PJ Harvey is to be honored by the Queen. The two-time Mercury winner be being awarded an MBE for her 20 years of service to music.

Acts have been announced for Pitchfork Festival Paris 2013, which runs from 31 October – 2 November at the Grande halle de la Villette. So far the lineup consists of: The Knife

; Warpaint; 
The Haxan Cloak and 
Junip.

Chvrches have announced that their debut LP The Bones of What You Believe will be released on 23 September.  Ahead of that release, they’ve dropped a video for upcoming single ‘Gun’, due for UK release on 15 July.

A Grave with no Name have released single ‘Dig Me Out’ from their album Whirlpool, due for release this July via Stare Record.

Kim Deal announces her departure from The Pixies after 25 years.

In a statement, the band said:

“We are sad to say that Kim Deal has decided to leave the Pixies. We are very proud to have worked with her on and off over the last 25 years. Despite her decision to move on, we will always consider her a member of the Pixies, and her place will always be here for her. We wish her all the best.”

Italian-born, New York-based Porcelain Raft has announced his new record will be released on 20 August. Check out the teaser below:
