What happens when you cross the Beach Boys with ... And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead with Brit Pop and Phoenix? No it's not a joke, a band like this does exist in New Zealand going by the name of Popstrangers. We're hoping they'll be over in the UK later this year, but in the meantime, they have a record out in the shape of their forthcoming Antipodes LP, due out February 26 on Carpark Records. Preview track Heaven (below) is lush, check it.
