CHAINS OF LOVE
Happy 3rd of December guys - today's festive post comes from retro-pop outfit Chains of Love.
Driving straight from Austin to Toronto, we've never screamed at each other so much. Tour with Detroit Cobras getting cancelled, which sucked, but instead we locked ourselves in the studio for the entirety of the summer and wrote an album. Late night parties. Touring Europe for the first time, sausages in Germany. Sketchy dudes pulling knives in Brussels, late night bike rides in Paris, the cold of Edinburgh, a band called Vladimir from Dundee.
What can we expect from Chains of Love in 2013?
Well, new album should be out sometime in February, then touring and more touring, maybe a music video or two and more touring.
Tell us a Christmas track that you like?
Why this track?
There's nothing I can't get down to more than curling up with your girl on a couch, throwing on some fucking Enya, sipping some hot chocolate, and "lightly making out" while the soothing sounds of Christmas Enya fills your head, and heart.
Can our readers have a link to one of your tracks please?
After you finish throwing up, I suggest putting on the title track from our latest release, Strange Grey Days. It's one of my favourites, albiet a bit different from the rest of the record.
