Hardcore SNHerders may remember this lot, as we made them our New Band of the Week about a year ago, and still remain one of our favourite finds in recent years. We were lucky enough to catch up with them for our 11th Xmas Interview. Enjoy!

What were your highlights of 2012?
Discovering that Blank Realm are even better than I thought they were, falling in love with Scott & Charlenes Wedding and a new wave of Australian music in general.As a band we played a bunch of shows at SXSW and did a US college radio session (which we have always wanted to do) but the most enjoyable was the show we played for Was Ist Das up in Hebdon Bridge – one of the first people to care about what we did. We also closed the year by releasing a one-take, live tape recording of our debut album. It sold out in seconds.
What can we expect from you in 2013?
We will finally release our much-delayed 2nd album “Horizon”. We released one track of this in the summer but we decided to hold off on the album release so we could experiment with more cassette recordings. I think the format suits our more exploratory sound so we are going to start a series of cassette releases to compliment the official releases.
