Deap Vally are are Lindsey Troy (vox) and Julie Edwards (rhythm). These chicks are totally filling a void right now and holy shit are they good. Harsh, gritty, brooding, bluesy rage. Blowup guitars and tinny, hissing cymbals couple with woahs, wails and banshee-esque howls. This duo are hellish, soulful and riotous, and have got it spot on.
