New Band of the Week - 18/07/2011 - Selebrities

Sounding like the hybrid love child of Blondie, Joy Division, The Cure and fellow New Yorkers, Cold Cave, these dream pop-sters are cut from an altogether happier cloth than the latter three. Glassy vocals coupled with shimmery guitars are neatly sewn together with an 80s pop sensibilty. Their debut LP Delusions (2011) has slowly been picked up in European waters and hopefully word will spread for this fantastic band.
