Long Beach psych punks The Growlers have given away a free track, 'Someday' to celebrate the release of their new album, 'Hung at Heart'. I really like this track, sounds like The Walkmen, all dirtied up.

The day job - we've all been there - some of us are still there. Today's Thursday Top 3@3:33 celebrates the lowly worker; stuck in a job that, well, they'd rather not be doing, but hey, they're getting paid and there's a recession (or some sort of economic crisis), don't you know. 

If this post is particularly relevant to you - chin up! I hear the economy will recover in four years. You're probably doing that job with your eyes closed anyway - and, while pretending to stuff envelopes or enter data into a never ending Excel spreadsheet, you realistically have lots of free time to look at music sites, like this one, and listen to rad Thursday playlists, that epitomise how you're feeling.
