The Top3@3:33 was actually started between all of us at work about a
year ago as a content friendly pick-me-up group email. It was also a great way
of bitching and moaning, through song choice, without the back lash, because at the
time we all worked for a company that triple distilled our fun emails to
remove all traces of grit, and that ain’t no fun at the best of times.
We realise there are song lists coming out of the intergalactic ying
yang (NME), and lists and about the lists, or lists about not having anything
to do with lists (everyone else), but we just thought it would be fun to share
some of the songs that we find often give a much needed swift kick to Friday’s
annoying younger brother.
Some weeks the Top3 may have a theme, and other times just a motley mix
of what SNH have been listening to when we're not panning for new gold. So get
your brew ready, drape your hair to cover your earphones for 10 minutes and
join us!
This week's Top3 was inspired by the brilliant bands that graced the
stages of Paredes de Coura in Portugal which a few of us had an amazing time at
a few weeks ago.
Memoryhouse – When you Sleep (My Bloody Valentine cover)
Of Montreal – The Past Is A Grotesque Animal
